We’re hiring!

OFD Consulting LLC is an award-winning boutique agency that focuses exclusively on the wedding industry. We’re expanding and now on the hunt for a part-time editorial assistant to support our real wedding submission services through our PR membership, OFD Collective.

The ideal candidate will have an equal love (dare we say obsession?) with media relations and weddings. The position is remote and anticipated to be 15-20 hours/week.

DUTIES

The editorial assistant will work directly with the team to assist with day-to-day execution of all public relations activities.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Curation of wedding submission galleries
  • Client correspondence
  • Research and compiling of vendor information
  • Media research
  • Updating client and media databases
  • Prepping editorial meetings

ELIGIBILITY + SKILLS

Work is a part-time, remote position and must be available for a set schedule during normal business hours.

The candidate need not be from the event industry background, but preference will be given to those with knowledge of the wedding industry or visual arts.”

The ideal candidate should be visually inclined with a supreme attention to detail. Candidates must possess strong communication and organizational skills, as well have the ability to work independently.

Candidate must take direction well and understand that public relations is often a fast-paced environment so the ability to think quick and “on your feet” is a huge bonus.

Proficiency with Mac OS, Gmail, and Dropbox required; Knowledge of Airtable, Basecamp, and Adobe Suite a plus.

If interested in being considered, please complete this form.

Thank you!
