OFD Consulting is seeking a Wedding PR Specialist to support our Editorial and Submission Tracks within OFD Consulting and the OFD Collective.
This is an entry-level, execution-focused role ideal for someone early in their PR career who wants hands-on experience in media relations within the wedding and events industry. This role exists to support our systems, serve our clients well, and help ensure our founder and leadership team can focus on growth and revenue generation.
This position is full-remote (40/hours a week), and preference will be given to those who can work in Eastern/Central time zones. Health/Dental is provided after the waiting period.
The ideal candidate is detail-obsessed, deadline-driven, and thrives in structure. A strong sense of organization and professionalism are our top two priorities.
What You’ll Do
This is a production-based, support role focused on execution. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to-
- Assist with preparing and submitting client features to wedding publications
- Support PR lead responses (editorial opportunities shared with members)
- Draft submission materials
- Help manage deadlines across multiple clients
- Communicate with clients as needed in a professional, polished manner
Ideal Background
- 1–3 years of experience in public relations or communications
- Strong written communication skills (clear, polished, professional)
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity with Google Drive, Canva and Airtable (training provided)
- Some exposure to project management software (training provided)
- Understanding of media etiquette and professional communication
Prior wedding industry experience is a plus, but not required. We will train you in our editorial standards.
