Throwing down the Glitz Gauntlet- Go Team Richmond!

You know, Richmond sometimes gets a bad rap when it comes to wedding trends but today, that has changed. The fabulous folks of McBride Events, Emily Hudspeth Hair Design Make Up Artist, PW Photography and Blue Steel Lighting Design threw down the glitz and glam gauntlet for the annual Inspired Creations Contest by Elizabeth Anne Designs and The Sweetest Occasion.

In addition to the above, you’ll see quite a few other Richmond wedding pros listed- it was truly a team effort. My PR intern Ariana even spent the day with the group- sending me photos throughout the day so I could simply become more and more envious. 🙂

Although I didn’t work directly with the group on the design, I can attest to the fact that it was many, many hours of planning to turn a simple warehouse into something pretty darn spectacular.

This past week, the team’s efforts were featured and now, they are anxiously waiting to see if they made the cut to the Top Ten:

The list of entries are here and if you have a moment and loved what Team Richmond did, please leave a comment to help push them into the Top Ten.

Thanks for your support- go Luxe! 🙂
