Wedding Marketing and PR Specialist Selected for The Special Event 2013
(Chicago, IL)— Meghan Ely, president of wedding marketing and wedding PR firm OFD Consulting, is pleased to announce she has been selected to speak at The Special Event 2013 conference in Chicago on January 15 – 18, 2013.
“It’s an honor being chosen as one of the featured speakers for The Special Event,” says Ely. “TSE always provides a great deal of inspiration to its attendees and I look forward to lending my insight and experiences in 2013.”
Ely is slated to speak on two topics. The first, “Ready, Set, Submit: Turning Your Real Weddings Into Press,” will discuss the ins and outs of Wedding PR and real wedding submissions. The second, which will be co-presented with Jennifer McBride of McBride Events, is “The Great Bounce Back: Hitting Rock Bottom and Coming Back.”
“Jennifer and I have been developing our topic for quite some time and are fully prepared to make this coming year’s presentation an educational, rewarding experience for everyone involved,” says Ely, who has co-presented with McBride previously at both the 2010 and 2011 TSE conferences.
