Holiday Card Love, Wedding Pro Style

If you’ve read my blog, or have even spent five minutes with me, you know that I heart holiday cards. They’re fun to make, fun to receive- and can even serve as a strategy in your wedding marketing plan.

This year, I worked with the lovely and talented Sarah Stanitz– Sarah and I go back many years (go JMU!) and I’m delighted that she continues to say yes when I ask her to design something new and wonderful for me.

This year, I decided to go cheeky and play on my recent presentation on wedding trends, in which I contend that the year 2010 was the “Year of the Chalkboard” with weddings. I felt like every where I went, I was bumping into a chalkboard menu, seating chart or prop for photos. So it will come as no surprise when I reveal this year’s OFD Consulting Holiday Card Design.

I thought it would be fun to share some of the cards from wedding pros that showed up on my door step this season. Below you’ll find 1) OFD Consulting as designed by Sarah Stanitz, 2) Bob Schnell Photography as designed by Sarah Stantiz, 3) McBride Events, as designed.. yep, by Sarah, 4) LK Events and Design as designed by Ruffled Skirt Designs and 5) Classic Party Rentals as designed by Red Orange Design. Thanks to all those who shared their designs with me.

More tomorrow! In the meantime, what are some of the favorite cards you’ve received this season?
