I’m sure you too have been following the devastation in Japan right now and when something of this caliber takes place, it’s imperative we give our support in any way we can.
It’s with that, that I am joining scores of other wedding bloggers through the US and beyond who will have a day of silence on our blogs tomorrow, March 18. Instead, we ask that bloggers and blog readers alike visit For Japan with Love, which has a direct link on the website to their fundraising page for ShelterBox.
ShelterBox was one of THE first organizations asked by Japan to help and were on hand on the Saturday after the quake. Each large, green ShelterBox is tailored to a disaster but typically contains a disaster relief tent for an extended family, blankets, water storage and purification equipment, cooking utensils, a stove, a basic tool kit, a children’s activity pack and other vital items. Please check it out and whatever you can contribute will be so appreciated.
If you’re a blogger and would like to participate, please visit this link for more information. Thank you to the ladies of Utterly Engaged and Ever Ours for taking the initiative to create this opportunity to give back.
